FOUNDER and CEO

Founded by Phillip Tor Manyok Ph.D., in 2022, Peace Hunt LLC, is dedicated to educate, train, research and promote programs that help people and societies build a more peaceful world. Dr. Manyok is an ethnic & cultural conflict practitioner who researches and practices in violent conflict resolution. Dr. Manyok’s life journey transverses from a child soldier in Sudan, a war survivor who traveled by foot halfway across the Horn of Africa to a refugee camp in Ethiopia. After surviving the horrors of war, Phillip abandoned guns for books, earning his baccalaureate degree in Political Science from Southwest Baptist University, a Master’s of ARTS International Relations and Conflict Resolution from American Public University Systems, and two doctorate degrees (Conflict Analysis and Resolution from Nova Southeastern University and Metaphysical Studies from Institute of Metaphysics and Humanistic Science) on his way to understanding what had happened to him and his country of Sudan which is now divided by two civil wars. Dr. Manyok currently works with people autism and serves as the lead researcher and narrator for Valka-Mir’s conflict video case studies on the Dinka-Bor and Nuer Peoples of South Sudan’s Civil War. He is also a lead psychosocial conflict researcher on the Acholi people’s involvement with Joseph Kony’s Lord’s Resistance Army. Dr. Manyok speaks Dinka, English, and basic Arabic. Dr. Manyok is author of a book, “Facing Life’s Adversities and Gaining Inspiration” and published dozens of peers reviewed articles and is currently writing a book, " Rethinking Global citizenship: From Athens Greece to Globalized World.” He can be reached at phillip.manyok@valka-mir.com or dr.t.manyok@gmail.com
